Some have gotten credit as soon as they became a paying member & got their first charge. (After the Free Trial).

Me, I had to request manual credit for Netflix & was credited by FC about 2 weeks after requesting it.

I'm still waiting on Blockbuster to credit. I haven't had it too long but I've gotten and exchanged like 6 DVD's already. I can't do netflix because I was already a member previously so I'm not a new member.

net flix smet niks.....go make a movie and rent it yorself.im sorry im so sarcastic but common sense rules......... :notworthy:

Common Sense?? Let's look at this.

Here, a typical rental, for New Releases at a Video store is $3.99 per movie for 2 days of viewing.
To go to the Movies, it's $8.00 per person.
Older movies at the Video Store is $1.50 per movie for 5 days of viewing.
Late Fees, be it old or new release is $2.00 per movie, per day it's late!

Netflix:

I pay $16.99 per month for unlimited movie rental & am allowed to have 3 out at a time.
I also get 17 hours per month of online viewing of movies on their site.
No late Fees
No return date

AND, the nearest shipping facility from me is in Richmond (an hours drive). So I take 3 movies to the Post Office at 8am (as the P.O. has it's own Bin especially for Netflix-some agreement they have worked out with the P.O)
my movies go out in that days mail. Netflix facility in Richmond gets them the same day. They then proccess my next 3 movies, mail them off and I get em the next day!

So an average of about 9 movies per week x's 4 weeks is 36 movies per month for $16.99 + tax..which is $17. & some change charged to my Bank each month!
And I rent New Releases from Netfilx.
New releases at the Video store  $3.99 x's 36 =$143.64 !! If I were to rent @ Video Store at the rate I receive movies from Netflix @ 9 movies per week. And with a Video Store, you do not get online movie viewing (Except for Blockbuster)

With that being said, I'll keep my common sense b/c I am the one saving money in the long run by using Netflix. And I have nothing but great things to say about this company!

Unfortunately, no.  If you read the fine print on the Netflix offer....it says "New Members Only" and since you have already had an account, you wouldn't qualify.   :sad1:

You should try creating a new email address and using that for Netflix.  Not sure if it will help you get the FC credit, but you could at least get another two week free trial on your own.

I know that I had a entertainment coupon for Blockbuster and the only way I could use my free month was to start a new account with a new email address.

Worth a try unless you are only doing it for the FC credit and then I would say probably won't work.
