Celebrating Breast Cancer

Today I joined a group of women celebrating the first anniversary of a program "Encore", developed around the healthy recovery of Breast Cancer http://survivors, fighters.
Together we met for 10 weeks, participating in exercises on land and in the water, had educational speakers and learned nutritional information that helped us to become more informed in the thing we choose to eat.
When I arrived (a little late) the gym was filled with ladies of all ages doing Zombia.  I was surprised by the emotion that over took me as I found myself holding back tears. 
It was great to see friends with their hair growing back in and the strength that each person has.  I am sharing this with you in hopes that anyone who is reading this and has gone through this journey or knows someone who has or is going through this, can search out this program.  It is free and staff all go through special training before being qualified to teach.  I learned so much and the one thing that is encouraged is to listen to your body and to celebrate each day.
I hope by mentioning the program name I am not breaking any rules but felt this was something that could help others.
