Cats, all the way. Dogs can be fun, but a little too much to handle at times. Cats are far more self-sufficient, yet complete sweethearts.

I prefer dogs. I have nothing against cats I just like dogs better. I have found dogs to be more affectionate than cats. The few cats I have encountered pretty much want to be left alone. Where as my dog likes affection and attention.

If I was going to choose one of those for a pet, I think it would be a cat. They are much more independent.

I prefer dogs - they are sometimes helpful = watch out for our houses.

I got a little kitty who everytime I leave my wheelchair he jumps up in it. If he even see's me look over at it, like I am getting ready to transfer, he jumps in it. now I do not know, if he just wants my chair or if he wants to go for a ride, so I took him for a ride, he seems to like it. He also took his paws and somehow pulled the bandage tape off of my leg, and took off with it, I do not know what I am going to do with him. He is very playful, He even likes to jump in the bathtub, he loves water. I got my own private in home health care nurse kitty. :cat:
