Homemade mac & cheese, oven baked. The recipe came from a family friend years ago but I've modified and, dare I say, improved upon the original. Has American, colby and mozeralla cheeses but the cripsy cracker topping is what makes it special and delicious. Made it tonight for a friend; best batch yet! Perhaps too good? We at it all so no leftovers for me tomorrow!

Hey badgerkadams-----I'd love your recipe.  My husband loves homemade mac & cheese and we are looking for a good one.  Thanks!

I can make this smashing dish called Shrimp Creole. I am from the southeast and this dish was my favorite growing up. Now I live in the midwest and this dish always reminds me of home. All you need is some big, juicy shrimp, and maybe some scallops. A bay leaf, some tomatoes and tomato paste cayenne pepper and red pepper, onoin and bell pepper, and some good ole rice. Make you some hot delicious buttermilk cornbread and have you a glass of chilled wine. I like white with mine. But enjoy whatever your pleasure. And don't forget the slice of cheesecake for dessert with chocolate on top. I think I'm full already. I'll holla! Oh i so do apologize,I forgot to tell you to smash and cut up the garlic as you are saute the shrimp and scallops with the bell pepper and onion. I think that's where the smash comes in peolple.

Spanikopita (Greek spinach pie) a recipe that me and my Mom made together for years when I was a kid and I've never had any that was better than ours!  It's one of my favorites!  I also make Lasagna that's really good, Spanish Rice, and Meatloaf.  But everything that I make my boyfriend says is great not to toot my own horn but I've been cooking and baking for a very long time.  I was 5 and in the kitchen mixing and measuring everything because I was interested and my Mom thought it was something that would teach me good things, and it did (she had me sewing by 8, lol) it was great to know how to do these things at a young age, and be encouraged to do so (though being closely supervised of course).
