debates - did you watch
« on: September 29, 2023, 02:58:55 pm »
I did not watch but I heard some of the back and forth between the candidates on the news. It's my considered opinion that no one really knows how to debate anymore. It's sad because an intelligent debate is interesting and informative.

The most damning thing I heard was Nikki Haley yelling and talking over Ramaswamy.

Who wants a screeching woman for prez anyway?

The moderators pretty much talked over the candidates from the small clip that I heard.

One special moment had Christie calling Donald Trump "Donald Duck" because he ducked things. ??? R U serious? That's the best you've got?  :confused1:

My main complaint is that they didn't talk about their record or their policies, but rather bashed each other like spoiled little brats.  :(

Donald Trump all the way, chickens.

Watched a recording on Fox10 site, have to say out of all of them Pence had the most charisma. maturity and verbal continuity.  Of course that said, he was a VP and knows the ropes well, while the rest are amateurs at presidential politicking trying to gain a following in the political arena.  Changed my mind about Trump though, could get the same results from Pence in the WH.

The debates have been okay but they could be made great again if a certain someone was on that stage. You know who I am talking about. Our one true lord and savior Donald Trump. True fact about Donald Trump, every single person who voted for him has had at least one sexu*l fantasy about him a day since 2016. I personally dream of him entering my room at night, sweeping my wife of her feet and going to town while I get hear passionate screams of lust such as "get off of me" "get out of my house" and "who are you?" Then when the Donald is done he allows me to clean every inch of his body with my mouth while my wife cries tears of joy and says "oh why is this happening" clearly referring to the fact she never wanted it to end. Then when the God-Emperor Donald is clean, he goes off into the night to continue his work to Make America Great Again. Anyone of you who claim to be a Donald Trump voter who has never had a fantasy of sexua*ly pleasuring him are liars and clearly secret Hillary Clinton voters. As Donald Trump once said "Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for me in the bedroom, you did not do for me in the voting booth"

I watched the first 2 debates. I don't know why you saw, linderlizzie, but I heard questions asked and answered until the attacks began. When Nicki was yelling and attacking Vivek, it was because he attacked her family so I don't blame her.  He talked over EVERYONE. He wouldn't shut up even when his time ran out and even when he wasn't called on.

Pence was calm and quiet. Shame he had to drop out. He has experience and wasn't attacking anyone. As for Christie, I used to like him when he was NJ governor but he turned out to be very vindictive. He kissed Trump's butt when Trump was running but didn't get the spot he wanted on the Trump team so now Christie attacks him every chance he gets. Don't need him and can't wait until he drops out.
