Do any of you eat either of these? I think you have to be high-class, crazy or a gourmand to enjoy either one.  :-\  :P

I like some Sushi and not others. Shrimp and Salmon rolls are my favorites, but I am not high class or crazy and I don't even know what that last word is.

I hope you love learning new words as much as I, oldbuddy.  ;)

Gourmand: a person who enjoys eating and often eats too much.

Well Webster let you off the hook for calling me that.

"That negative connotation mostly remained until English speakers borrowed the similar-sounding (and much more positive) gourmet from French in the 19th century. Since then, the meaning of gourmand has softened so that although it still isn't wholly flattering, it now suggests someone who likes good food in large quantities rather than a slobbering glutton".

I am not a fan of either. I can eat a steak that is just on the side of "mooing" but can't stomach raw or partially raw seafood. lol

I Loved the slogan at Dan and Louie's Oyster Bar, "Eat 'Em Alive", so yummie! I will never forget a Boy Scout Trip I went on as a leader to Gig Harbor, Washington. Once the boys found out I loved Oysters there was a steady stream of them going down on the rocks to bring them to me just so they could watch me eat 'em alive. What a feast! (I felt like a gourmand that day Lizzie)
