Serves me right!
« on: September 03, 2022, 03:34:43 am »
Until the recent return of the TapResearch Surveys, I had pretty much given up on trying to complete the higher paying surveys on FC. Never getting any credit or the ability to complete the daily PTC and always getting DQ'd just soured me on even trying. But today after a few consecutive days of the daily PTC, I decided to give a regular survey a go. It was about my experience with convenience store/gas stations.

Early in the survey, they asked me to describe about a dozen different store brands in one word. You KNOW these stores! They are ALL the same - cookie cutter with the things that they offer and even the layout of their items. So feeling a little unoriginal and unmotivated to be creative, I typed in "convenience" about a dozen times for each and every option. How do you differentiate twelve different words for twelve different, but no so different, stores?

I completed the survey - about 20 minutes long - all very honestly and with thought to my answers, other than that one question (which I legitimately forgot about by the end of the survey). I got to the demographic questions and had one of those excitement moments! "I'm getting close to the end of the survey, and they are actually going to give me credit! W00t!"

Then I hit the submit button and it threw up a page that said there were some problems with some of my answers and I was informed I would be getting no credit for the survey!

 :(

I deserved that.  But really... How can you legitimately come up with 12 different one word descriptions of twelve identical businesses without literally making *bleep* up?

Don't feel bad. I checked my account. The last time I was able to complete a survey was back in April!  Yesterday I was able to complete 2 of them at $.50 each. If I could do that every day, I'd be happy, but it still doesn't help much. I can't get above $11 because all the expired ones I lose every day. Yeah, over 180 days since I could cash in...does it pay to beat my brains out for nothing?  And just realized, I wasted $.15 by not doing PTC again because I rarely complete the 5 cents necessary to do so since I never get surveys to complete!

Same here. I have decided to give another try at surveys (I haven't done any in 4 months) since Tap is back. We'll see. Still seems like this site is a mess and not worth it.

If you do Tap Research, keep an eye on your rewards. I've done a few that were supposed to pay $.14, $.15, $08., etc. All I got were $.01. on a lot of them after I spent the minutes required on the surveys and completed.

When I get that feeling that I am being trapped in a box, that's when I hit the upper right corner X and spend my time on the next opportunity.

WOW!   Glad I checked the forum. Made 8 cents on  Tap and was able to do PTC.  Went on to earn another 5 cents from Tap, so able to do tomorrow's PTC.   Thanks Guys!   :pumpkin:

It only takes 5 cents total to qualify for the next day's PTC

I made $1.15 today on Tap (plus my 15 cents for the pay to click).  I'd call that a good day!

Yes having Tap available makes all the difference in being able to qualify for the 15 cent PTC every day, thereby keeping the offers income steady and stable.   :pumpkin: :pumpkin: :pumpkin:
