Super glue on you too?
« on: March 27, 2022, 05:19:09 pm »
I cannot, I repeat cannot, use super glue without getting it all over my fingers. I discovered that if after getting the glue on you, you wash your hands several times during the day with warm soapy water and then rub with a towel, you can get it off in the same day. Which is better than feeling it on your fingers for more than one day.  ::)

I think fingernail polish remover is supposed to do the same thing, but I don't always have that handy.

If any of you is talented enough to use super glue without getting it on your fingers or gluing your fingers together (eww!), please share that info with all of us super glue klutzes out there.

Thank you so very much.

FYI: Just in case you didn't know, this is the symbol for two people stuck together with super glue.  :highfive:

That should be obvious from your picture, but it gives you the edge in many other areas of life.

I found warm soap water works for me in the past as well.

Like you I always get it on my fingers and it doesn't feel good.  I just keep washing my hands and trying to peel it off, but that takes time.

Trying using some kind of oil on your hands before using super glue.  That may help you.
