Tuesday, December 14 - Geminids Meteor Shower Peak (all night)

The Geminids meteor shower, usually one of the most spectacular showers of the year, runs from November 19 to December 24 annually.

Wednesday, December 15 - Bright Moon near Uranus (all night)

Thursday, December 16 - Gibbous Moon in Taurus (all night)

Friday, December 17 - Venus Closest to Saturn and Jupiter (after sunset)

December 21st = longest night of the year/shortest day/first day of winter....only gets brighter from there :)

This is a sad day for me because it was my mother's birthday.  She has passed away now, but I always remember her on this day.
