Next year when more people are going back to work and driving, the prices will return to a normal level

I don't mean to sound condescending, but I think you are living in a fantasy world with that projection. The current price of gas has zero to do with the perceived drop in the number of people/miles commuting to work each day and everything to do with the person and policies occupying a certain large white colored house in Washington D.C.

I have several friends who work at the refinery, they were let go during covid because of the low amount of fuel being sold.  They have not been called back yet, many of the refineries were making 50% of what they had/can be making.  But right now they have ex exceptionally low overhead and are making bigger profits.  Has nothing to do with the pipeline.  They just saw an opportunity to gouge.

Gas will get worse before this hell Bidens put us through will get better.  Granted Biden has said he couldn't anything about it. Than a week or two later oh were going to release 50 million barrels of oil which wont be felt for one or two months later down the line which wont mean anything when gas prices get higher than they are now. He could do things. We never switched from summer to winter grade which makes gasoline cheaper for everyone. The Keystone pipeline could be restored. We could drop opec again and start using our own oil again. All these things would bring down gas prices but good old Joe and his family of misfits in the white house simply do not care about the american people unless if its a voting year than they care and spin this stuff off like republicans had everything to do  with it. That's what dems to best pass the buck and never take blame for there own actions

Next year when more people are going back to work and driving, the prices will return to a normal level (fingers crossed) , but since most of the country isn't driving to work, no gas is being sold at the normal level!   :(
I have friends who worked at the refineries and they have had a lot of lay offs, and are only producing half of what they did becuase there was no need for a lot of gas.

With Bidens Infrastructure plan being passed and all the money hes given away literally well be in bad shape for a few years to come. If he gets that Build back better plan which is mostly pork spending well be even worse off. I can actually picture 7-9 dollars a gallon gas in our future thanks to Bidens mishandling of the economy and other things. American dollar used to be worth a lot more now its going in that path down the road of being worthless
