I agree, if I was home alone maybe not.  A lot depends on the person.

No delivery person has ever entered my home they don't even ring the doorbell which pisses me off.  Not sure what I would do.  My first instinct would be to say no.  There's a grocery store a very short distance from my house so I'd tell them to go there most likely.

I have a guest bathroom right in my entry way and a Glock 9mm close by, so unless something looked really fishy I would help them out. There is nothing in there to steal much more valuable than a roll of toilet paper.
