Covid
« on: October 29, 2021, 09:14:13 am »
I am so happy to be back on.  I have been out for 3 1/2 weeks with covid.  Luckily I am fully vaccinated, so it was not to bad.  I got it from my grandson who I pick up from school and watch daily.  Poor little guy had it much worse than me, he is to young for the vaccination.  Before we were well and out of quarrantine his brother and sister got it also.  Since I was already with him, I stayed with the other to also.

I don't care what you think, and I don't want to hear about it...but I think people unless they have a disease that prevents it are very selfish in not getting vaccinnated.    To help all the people who cannot be.  The personnel at their school who didn't think they need to vaccinnate  are now out of jobs since they passed it on to so many of the students at this grammar school.  Luckily only one child was hospitalized so far.

Glad everyone is ok. This is nothing to mess with.  I see people daily just *bleep* nilly thinking they are invincible and it's just a bad flu and they don't have to wear a mask or social distance any more.  What bs.  This pandemic is far from over this is no the time to let your guard down.

The coronavirus has crippled a large number of people. Against this background, I began to experience severe pain in my joints, then I decided to find out how I could stop this pain. Then I started taking cbd capsules and I want to say that I was very pleased with the result and it all works great. It also helps to get rid of stress and sleep problems.

So glad you got through it with out worst conditions. I was scared to to get the vaccine because I always tend to get the flu after getting the flu vaccine but I decided to take the Covid vaccine because so many people were dying from it & I didn’t want to risk getting it. Knock on wood I didn’t get it and I still wear my mask while in public.

So sorry to hear that, hope the family feels better soon.

My son had a cold recently and the school was cautious in asking him to get him tested for COVID. That process takes up a lot of time and he has to miss school. I hope all kids stay safe.

I think we really should all let folks decide what is best for them. I know folks that were told not to get a vaccine by there dr. I know folks that have gotten really sick AFTER a vaccine. I know folks that are glad they got the vaccine and folks that regret getting it. I also have friends that wish they HAD gotten it. In all of this, please just leave folks alone. If you are vaccinated, then that should protect you. period. This is not the country I grew up in and it is sad.

Having said that, I am glad that you are better.

Do some research and you'll see why people are balking at the vaccines that are being made available to them.  I was waiting for this one:

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/01/29/covid-vaccine-comparing-jnj-pfizer-moderna-novavax.html

Novavax is a vaccine that uses  "protein subunit "   Efficacy rate: 96% Structure: Two-dose Availability: Not authorized yet Novavax is testing its two-dose COVID-19 vaccine in a phase 3 trial in the U.S. But on Thursday, the company reported encouraging results from a trial in the U.K. showing that the vaccine is 96 percent effectivein preventing both the original COVID-19 strain and the U.K. variant B.117.

Glad you had a mild case. Hope your grandon is ok.
Sounds like there will be a vaccine for the younger kids soon. However if i had a child that age i might wait a while. :pumpkin: :pumpkin: :peace:

There are still so many people who will not take the vaccines and making other people sick.  I say if you aren't going to take the vaccines, then stay away from people period.
