Rude for no reason.
« on: October 18, 2021, 08:53:44 pm »
Have you ever had someone be rude or treat you unfairly with no explanation of why? I got a friend request on FB the other day that took me back. It was a girl in high school that use to always be mean to me. She would do things like hit me and run. She would call me names in the hallway in passing. When I tried to retaliate she would go and get her little groupies to walk with her making it almost impossible to catch her alone. I couldn't wait to be done with her. Fast forward she had the audacity to send me a friend request. I almost accepted it just to ask why were you such a witch to me in high school but instead I ignored and deleted her request.

I would have accepted her request and then ask her what her problem was in HS. Maybe she wanted to apologize as she should. Show her that YOU are the bigger person and take the high road. If she wanted to continue to bully then you could have blocked her, that way you would have had the last say !!

Not for no reason. She must of wrote you off as that person she can do those things to and get away with it.

Steven I agree, but bullies are always brave when they are with others. Get a bully alone and chances are they wont say a word, they are cowards when alone JMT

I wouldn't want to have anything to do with her.

Well i go through this quite a bit with my very own brother. He can be a pain like this and wonders why I'm mad at him at times. But in general there a lot of people are that way be mean to someone out of nowhere its kinda dumb in retrospect but than again you never know what that person has been through that part of the day that make them that way in the first place. Than again this day in age some people just wake up literally annoyed at everything and everyone. A lot of youtube vides of people saying this stuff too how everything triggers them when they wake up and start there day

Just because it may be understandable why a person is the way they are, is that suppose to excuse their behavior?  :-\

I was ignored and made fun of in highschool. I am friends with a few of those folks on FB. I figure that it is in the past and we all grow up. Now, IF they are rude now, then I would be done. Maybe she is a different person.

Being rude is never the answer, treat people the way you want to be treated.

^I don't know about that. I think there is a corrupt flip side to that rule. That is if someone does something to you, you can do it right back to that person. So if someone threatens, assaults, insults or whatever to you, you are just in responding in kind.

Jesus said those words with his famed Sermon on the Mount.....<doing onto others>

He also scolded Peter on the night of his arrest after Peter defended him and cut the ear off a Roman soldier and told Peter,"those that draw the sword will die by it"

MY POINT???If you have a problem with the bible keep it to yourself when its obvious why you wrote that post. You twisted the meaning of that scripture to satisfy yourself to discredit God,Jesus and the bible.I saw fit to expose what you tried to do.

Do you really think Gods son is gonna be tortured and die for the human race and then expect you to return evil back to evil-doers?

Jesus actually told his father to forgive those executing him saying,"Forgive them father, they dont know what they are doing".
