Feeling hopeless
« on: September 08, 2021, 06:28:31 pm »
Today it finally hit me that I am suffering from depression. I injured my back at work in December of last year.  I went back to work after only 3 days of being off with light duty restrictions. My job violated the restrictions and had me heavy lifting. After my mri. test returned my dr. pulled me off work. My lower disc in my back is damaged and bulging because it is out of place. Workers comp denied my claim and I ended up having to get a lawyer. I contacted him around the time I was still working when they violated my restriction. Last week they put me through four hours of work conditioning that left me in so much pain that my dr. discontinued it. Work conditioning is used to determine how much you can do before they send you back to work. I had filed for unemployment because I only qualified for $300 in temporary disability. Now they want me to pay back unemployment. I filed an appeal because I have nothing. I haven't been able to do to my job since January due to my injury. I have times when its difficult to sit and walk. To make matters worse my ex came by trying to sweet talk me about getting back together. Come to find out he has a baby on the way with his other ex. When it rains it pours. I don't know what to do financially. I tried to publish my book, but they wanted way too much money. I feel so lost. I have enough saved to maybe last me through October if I am lucky.

Please, don’t go back with the ex; is your first step on not doing! You have enough troubles now! I pray your luck will change for the better into the future!🍀

Just don't give up. Always remember that financial problems are temporary, and I'm sure you can come up with a few ideas on how to earn money. You need to care about your mental health first. When I was at my lowest, CBD oil helped me feel more active and alive, and you can check this page https://joyorganics.com/can-you-eat-raw-hemp-leaves/ to learn some information that can be beneficial for you. I hope it's going to work out for you, just believe in yourself!

Keep on pushing to get that disability, sometimes it takes a while.

I'm sorry you hit a rough patch.  This too shall pass.  Keep at it with disability they always seem to deny everything at first, and go after your employer as well.  I hope things are better for you soon.

I'm praying things work out for you.  The ex is a problem and not a solution so run from him.  Check with social services and see if they can help.

I didn't know paying back unemployment was a possible thing. That's sucks on top of everything else.   :(

Did you try working from home. There some freelance sites but be careful of scams. I would google search for freelance work. Some do pay.

I am sorry for your problems, like you said when it rains it pours.  Skip the ex.  He has enough of his own baggage and you don't need it.  Have you looked into disability and other public assistance, that is what it is there for.  Maybe you could get a roommate to help with expenses.  Are you getting some therapy for your injury?  Don't give up or get down there is always hope.  Sometimes it is just very hard to see.
