I've barely watched it this time. I love the summer Olympics, but I'm not feeling it this time.

I am so excited as well and our family has been watching it everyday for the past couple of days. So exciting to see the tally of metals as well.

I have watched the men and women's gymnastics.  I feel sorry for Simone because so much pressure was put on her to be great.  I have watched some of the diving and swimming events.

It is kind of hard to watch when we know the results already from the night before (with the time change).

the political correctness is to much, i won't

I agree with you, dwiley11. There is too much WOKE stuff to bear.

I hate how the ones that bash the United States act so righteous. Why are they representing our country if they hate it???  :o

I feel the same way - maybe it because they are so far away and the time zone is a problem but I have not watched much. Actually looking forward to when they are over and NASCAR is back.

 :cat:

 ???

 :sad1:

So Sad that athlete lost his medal for being late three minutes.   He was allowed to compete, and then after he won they reneged and he had to give up the medal.

https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/world/im-sorry-rules-are-rules-malaysias-shot-put-winner-loses-gold-medal-at-paralympics-for-arriving-late

In a rare event, a para athlete lost his gold medal after arriving late for the competition. Malaysia's Muhammad Ziyad Zolkefli, who had won a gold medal in men's shot put finals F20 class at the Tokyo Paralympics, was disqualified because he reported "three minutes late" for his event.
