I'm against it being legalized because weed secretly started World War 1 and 2. It also caused the Great Depression in 1929 because people were buying too much of it and it somehow made the economy collapse. It also makes people implode like that one character in Total Recall. It should also be noted that people high on marijuana also worship satan and lead very crime-filled lives full of murder, rape, and kickboxing. Did you know Hitler and Draco from Ancient Greece used to smoke weed? Darth Vader smoked weed too, but they cut those parts out due to funding issues. That's how evil this drug is. It's like meth, heroin, ecstacy, and crack combined into one drug! You smoke it once, you're pretty much flushing your life down the drain! BEWARE!

I smoke marijuana, mainly because I prefer not to take all the opiates and medication that is prescribed to me as a pain reliever. It helps ease the pain and and relaxes me. I have an A-B average in school, and I am in some honors classes. I don't think I'm an " average bear " because well... my grades say other wise.

Very cool.   I know quite a few responsible good people who smoke pot regularly for leisure or to deal with pain. None of them are screw ups. Proof is in the pudding!

If people are leading awful lives and they smoke weed, I doubt it's because they are smoking weed. It's usually the tip of the iceburg with them.

Its funny how all the people who are against weed being legal, are so quiet about fighting the worse things that are legal, i.e. one serving of alcohol is approx 180x more destructive to your body the a 1/4 oz of mary jane, which as anyone who has smoked knows, is gonna last you a lot longer then a drink. One ciggarette is more harmful to your lungs then 1 lb of weed, the pollution outside has a higer change of giving you lung cancer. Although like anything else, some people do have a high risk of getting cancer etc. no matter what. A 1 gm joint of weed kills less brain cells then a can of caffinated soda. I do agree that like alcohol and other prescription drugs and the like, while under the influence your reactions are slowed, and thought process loses concentration easily; Therefore i think it should be regulated like alcohol, since i sure dont want my doctor operating on me high! That would bring us income through taxes, reduce street crime by removing a major profit center from them, and if regulated, it has been proven to cure eating disorders (i know it's funny, but i'm not joking), help with depression, and of course help people in serious pain!

I am saying that it should OBVIOUSLY be legal because they have alcohol legalized everywhere and that is obviously way worse in the long run, so it shows how pointless it is to make it illegal at this point with things like that. I mean, they sell a thing called Salvia in stores that is like a short-term LSD and it is completaly legal, so why the hell not pot?
