I use both. Cash to buy local items. For online purchases I use PayPal or Amazon Gift Cards. I use CC with cat food and items that don't take PayPal or Amazon Gift Cards.

Pay with credit card but pay off monthly for no interest charges, don't carry cash.

I try to use credit because I get a (small) rewards from my purchases whereas I don't with cash. I never have much cash on me anyway.
