Black Friday is the best time to shop for deals on big purchases. Last year we got a front loading washer and dryer, and a Kenmore Elite stainless steel fridge all for $1200. On Black Friday you just have to be willing to get up with the sun and sacrifice a few hours of sleep after a day of eating ginormous amounts of food from all the Thanksgiving festivities. Happy holiday shopping to ya'll.

will be shopping every week for my kids until christmas gets here. mostly online shopping, i get 3-5% back on purchases from another site.
even if something i buy goes on sale during black friday, i can still go in and get my price adjustment.  i signed up for all the big stores and specialty stores email lists. they can pay off. one of the stores let me print off a 20% off coupon good through nov.30!

online shopping seems like a great idea for christmas shopping, avoid all the lines and parking!

I am a last minute shopper. Every year I say I am going to start early, but never do. I will probably start on black friday , which is my favorite shopping day! Online shopping is a thought though...just to avoid the mad crowd!

Maybe you could get your daughter-in-law a jewelry box or some kind of jewelry to pass down in the family.  Don't know how old your grandson is, but if he's young you can never go wrong with a remote control car.   :dontknow: Or a puppy! jk

My boyfriend and I are buying baby stuff for Christmas. Since we aren't 100% sure when our daughter will be released from the hospital we'd rather be prepared when she Is so we won't have to rush out to buy stuff. We'll probably start after Thanksgiving.

casually ask what store they love to shop in , maybe a gift card so they can get what they like.

she'll be home before you know it, then you'll have the rest of her Christmas's to spend with her.
