time to start thinking about my garden
« on: February 06, 2021, 03:45:22 pm »
I can hardly wait to get outside and enjoy working in my garden.  I am now trying to decide what kind of vegetables to plant. What are the easiest vegetables have you grown. what do you plan to plant this year.

We have already been out turning the soil and getting ours ready.  I love our garden.  Right now I am freezing lots of lemons and lemon juice, our tree was so full of them they l looked like the branches were going to fall off.

I'm thinking  about starting a garden this spring for the 1st time.   Keeping the bugs off is my main concern.

It’s kind of hard thinking of a garden when we hav 29 inches of snow and it’s snowing now.  We are getting another 3 inches.  We won’t even see grass for a long time until it melts. 😁

Berth no, not incredible let’s try ridiculous or disgusting or my favorite I HATE SNOW!  We are suppose to get more on Tuesday and Thursday.  We don’t usually get this amount of snow don’t know what the H*ll is going on.  The plows are running out of places to put the snow, 😁

I am not going to fool with too much garden this year. We have a farmer market close to me and a guy from my church has awesome veggies. It is easier to buy them from him. We lost a lot last year so it was a waste to even plant it.

I probably won’t either.  I live close to a farmers market also, and about 30 minutes away from Lancaster PA.  We often drive there and stop at Amish road stands for the best vegetable and fruit you ever want to eat.

I have been wanting a green tomato garden for quite some time.  Since this seems to be the year of me doing things I've always wanted to do I may start with a window will garden next month.

That's exactly why I think I need a garden room.

In addition to green tomatoes, I JUST decided I also want to do herbs, particularly mint and thyme.

I can hardly wait to get outside and enjoy working in my garden.  I am now trying to decide what kind of vegetables to plant. What are the easiest vegetables have you grown. what do you plan to plant this year.

I know what you mean :) It helps to think that Spring starts just next month.

It’s kind of hard thinking of a garden when we hav 29 inches of snow and it’s snowing now.  We are getting another 3 inches.  We won’t even see grass for a long time until it melts. 😁
