Zero! Twitter says NO! Biden’s Team Complains: We Want Trump’s WH Twitter

The Biden-Harris transition team is complaining because Twitter decided the followers of White House Twitter accounts, the number of which exploded from 26 million followers at the end of the Obama administration to roughly 60 million by the end of the Trump administration, will not be turned over to the Biden team.

On Tuesday, Biden’s digital director tweeted, “In 2016, the Trump admin absorbed all of President Obama’s Twitter followers on @POTUS and on @WhiteHouse – at Team 44’s urging. In 2020, Twitter has informed us that as of right now the Biden administration will have to start from zero.”

I agree. I am going to manually unfollow today.  I do agree if a new person takes over the account it should be reset to zero followers.  And like you said 80 million people voted for him LOL!  But I doubt the dead people who voted for him have a Twitter account.

Previous chatter?  So I assume you will refer to the comments the b  makes as "chatter" 

The account that Trump had/has will be archived. The tweets and account activity is not deleted.  Nor is it just continued.  The account, as of tomorrow will start with a clean slate as far as comments go.  The b  is mad because the followers will also be reset to zero.  So people will have to manually follow him.  He wanted the followers to just transfer to him.  Guess he is too stupid to realize that even if twitter had not reset the followers to zero people can manually unfollow the account.  I done that myself.  I do not care or want to see what non-comprehensible dribble he posts.

It is the same with the white house account.  The previous admin account will be archived and when the new admin takes control, tomorrow, the account will be a clean slate with zero comments and zero followers.

Not sure why he is crying.  IF 80 million people voted for him, as previously stated, he should have no problem getting all kinds of followers.
