Quitting all survey sites
« on: January 08, 2021, 09:53:18 am »
Not much luck this year with another of my sites. Someone must have hacked my One Opinion. I requested $25 in Dec and never got it. I also thought it was odd because I wasn't getting notice of more surveys as much but just thought it was slow because of the holidays. I had planned to use that money for Christmas.  I questioned them and they told me I was suspended indefinitely because I violated their policy of only one account. So I questioned the second account reply because I only had one account. They never refunded my $25 and I still had another $18.75 left. They didn't even have the courtesy of questioning me if i had a second account and to delete one if I did. It shocked me!  My account and money was stolen and they won't do anything about it. They were my second favorite site after FC.  I was with them 6 years. So that's the way they deal with long term "clients?" Very disappointed with them.

I'm down to 2 survey sites now (Inbox and Branded).  I cashed out on FC a while ago and should get paid around the 20th,  so I am just hanging around til I get paid (not doing surveys or anything).  I won't cancel my account just in case things change for the better around here.

I have two other survey sites at the moment, but use FusionCash the most.  I'm having one of the best months at FC that I've ever had.  Since we no longer have Tap, I make it a priority to sit here and keep trying until I get a survey that works.  It can be tedious and time consuming, but I collect so many DQ's while trying to find my $.05, that it adds up to a lot more than when I just made 5 DQ's with Tap and called it quits.

that really sucks. I am sorry to hear that. I have been doing One Opinion for several years and never had a problem. Seems pretty unfair.

I do Tel wut, ONe Opinion, U gov, Swagbucks, and In box. I think my best payouts are coming from Swagbucks.

Vindale did that to me years ago.  They terminated my account because they said I had a second acct. (I didn't )  They had a pretty high cash out amount ( $50 ) and I had about $42.  I had already gotten 6 or 7 payments from them so I guess they figured I made enough already LOL.

Why would they question you as to if you have more than one account. If you did you would lie. Most sites have a policy that you can only have one account and if you violate that all accounts are deleted and earnings are forfeited.  There is no "oh well you need to delete one of them and we give you a second chance".

Not sure I would refer to myself as a "client" because you did not have a job with them. People tend to to be able to grasp these penny clicking sites are not jobs.

I would, in your case, if what you say is completely true, want to know the 2nd account.  I know people tend to think it is funny to just do stuff like make up a phone number (and have seen that suggested on this site). The random string of numbers belongs to someone.  I had someone use what I assume was a fake email address and it was actually MINE.  He has used MY email address several times.  You would think he would have learned his lesson when he used it for his Netflix and I closed his account. lol

I don't guess there is a lot you can do if they will not respond to you.  Kind of like on here.  Admins are not responding to any support tickets and there is not much anybody can do.  Maybe file a report with the BBB but in reality that does not do much good either.

I think a lot of people are doing this.  Just hoping we get paid on the 20th.  I have a couple of other sites and I am doing well with them.

I would think if they honestly think you have a 2nd account that they should have to provide you with the user name or info on said 2nd account.  Or tell you why they think that.  A matching address, email address, phone number, or something.  Or tell them to just delete the 2nd account.

Sometimes I wonder when stuff like this happens if you have moved recently and the previous address owner had an account or if someone could have used an old address.  I know someone who done that once.

I have never had any issues like this so I don't know what you can do other than trying to contact them. And if they refuse to respond you just lose the money. I am not too interested in having an account where there is a high payout.  And I cash out as soon as I have the funds instead of hoarding it up because if something happens you lose more money. And while I still say this is not a job, and it isn't, you do work for the money and should be paid what you are owed.

I wonder if it could be a situation where you logged in using the same WiFi as another account holder - or a guest in your home used your WiFi to log in to their own account with that survey panel. Most places track the IP address of user logins and some have a "one account per household" restriction that is usually strictly enforced. One of the possible ways to expose multis would be to compare IP address logins.

FC has a ban on different accounts using the same Internet connection for this very reason (a portion of the Terms of Service for FC quoted below):

  • Users must not create more than one account per person, nor may they create more than one account per household. A "household" is defined as a single dwelling (including basements, attics, extensions, etc). Should a user be a member of more than one household, he/she must be the only FusionCash user in each of those households.
  • Users must not create more than one account per computer or internet connection.
  • Users must log in and use FusionCash on their own personal computer and internet connection only. The use of a FusionCash account on a public or shared computer, or public internet connection is grounds for disqualification. You may not access your FusionCash account on the same computer or internet connection as your referrer, referral, or any other FusionCash user. Violation of this term may be considered grounds for disqualification of any and all users involved.

Could be. FC does not enforce the one account per person. That has been proven.

It is also foolish to try to be this strict (any site).  What if you live in an apartment complex? There are also people who are totally honest and actually leave home from time to time and may want to log in to the site from somewhere else.  Does not mean they are cheating or have multiple accounts.  I really think we will see more of what the OP said happened.  Too many people are trying to do surveys and call it a job.  More than one person has admitted in these forums to cheating and basically call this owning their own business or call it their job and they are trying to earn a full time income doing surveys.  And most people who are doing stuff like this are in some way trying to cheat the system.  Sooooo the PTC sites are trying to stay a step ahead of the cheaters.  Not saying the OP cheated.  But innocent people will no doubt get pinged from time to time.

As far as using the same wifi there could be situations where you do not know someone else has ever in their entire life logged in using that particular wifi.

I questioned on "second account" once again because I sometimes use my desktop computer instead of my laptop. I haven't heard anything yet. The silence is deafening, I asked them to investigate (hahaha). I'm waiting to see if they answer. No one else uses my computer. My son just moved back home for a short stint and he does use my WiFi for his phone but he doesn't do surveys and doesn't know what survey sites I was signed up. Someone got my $25. That's a fact, but it wasn't me.

I might be wrong. It has happened before. But I do not think that you are allowed to do FC using wi fi. I believe that you have to be wired. The reason is that other persons might also do FC using the same wi fi as you.
