Why do you use Fusion Cash?
« on: December 26, 2020, 05:49:26 pm »
I'm just curious :) I've used it on and off for YEARS but I decided I would aggressively attack my credit card debt in any way I know how which includes things like Fusion Cash.  It's really not much but every little bit counts.  I'm also ONLY buying genuine needs.  I'm typically a pretty healthy eater but I've also decided that we (and my animals) will temporarily be eating the cheapest brand available until I pay this darn debt off.  I'm hoping that if I am super diligent I can get it paid off in a year.  I've also decided to temporarily remove all optional activities /hobbies and spend all of my free time trying to make money.  This isn't super fun but it will (hopefully) be over soon :) the only thing that would slow me down is my Hubby :( I love him but we are not on the same page in regard to the debt.. which has been so discouraging in the past but I'm praying that even if he does something to set me back /kinda ruin my progress I will NOT get upset but press on.  Many times in the past I make such great progress but end up giving up because my Hubby just charges a bunch of stuff we don't need and I think to myself, 'Why try.  Just give up, you obviously can't do this alone.' but I'm really, really dedicated this time, more than I've ever been :) IF YOU'RE A CHRISTIAN please pray for us!  Thank you!!

Prayer helps, but this guy needs real help. There are resources and counseling that he could avail himself of if he's amenable to that, which he probably will not be.

Regardless, he should not have ANY credit cards that are in both your names. Get those cards and cancel them. Alternatively, talk to the credit card company and cancel them and ask if they will accept a payment plan from you.

You should not be responsible for his debt. It needs to stop because the interest will kill you. I have been married to a man that filed bankruptcy twice. It's a sickness, like alcoholism. It's not easy to overcome, but it's impossible if he does not stop his spending. Take my friendly advice or leave it, but think twice about going in the same direction you're going right now.  :moneymouth:

We've had credit card debt all our married life. We were able to refinance and put some debt into  mortgage loan.  So 3 percent interest not 20 percent. Had to buy a ne2 water heater put that on a card we just got zero percent interest.  Sometimes putting it on a card is easier then cash. Hurts to take out 2000.00  like for the heater then just put it on a card. As far as husband's go mine is a spender but has stopped doing it so much.

I originally signed up for Fusioncash to help pay off my student loans. I was unemployed at that time so I was pretty desperate to find any stream of income. I now have a full-time job so I save up my FC money as a separate alloawnce for things that I want.

I have been with FC about 10 years and I am a low income senior citizen.

I was working in a call center part time and used FC to earn some money a little more creatively than being on phones 3 1/2 hours out of four. My salary went towards basics and money from sites like FC went towards luxuries.

Now I am considered "elderly". I was involuntarily retired aka laid off about 4 years ago. I only receive social security so FC is now used to pay for some necessities rather than luxuries.

It also keeps me younger and active and connected. At 75, you want to keep both the body and the brain moving.

You aren't going to pay off too much credit card debt on this site.  Heck you probably can't even pay the interest charged by what you make on here. lol  I had mine all paid off until this past Spring and some things happened that I had to use the card again.  If your animals will eat the cheapest food available that is good.  Mine do not like it when I change their diets and usually just leave the food sitting there.  And cry.  :(

I was just looking for extra money. I put in checking account and do not separate it.  What you are saying is a good idea esp if you had a separate account to put all your online earning money in to.

LOL you're right about the interest thing.  I know - but I just keep telling myself even if I only make $5 /MO that's $60 by the end of the year.  If I'm doing stuff like this on 5 different outlets that's $300 so, again, I just keep telling myself every little bit helps and it will add up.

I've been considering completely saving everything I'm making from these little sites until my debt is down to maybe $1500 then applying everything at once.  Not sure yet.

Habit lol.  I've done a ton of GPT sites many of them long gone FC is one of the only one's still around although recently it's changed and not for the better but I'll still stick with it until the wheels fall off.  I made more money here than many of the other GPT sites so I've had a good experience and that kept me around.

Every little bit does help. But keep in mind earnings on this site expire. And several like sites have randomly closed so I would not hoard up earnings to cash out for a bigger payout. I keep up with everything I do online and the total for last year was well worth it I guess. I don't fool with this site anymore because there are not enough earning opportunities. I will stroll through the forums from time to time and see if anything has changed but until something major does I won't waste my time. Hopefully the others who are just trying to get to $25 and then plan to quit can make it before the site closes. I honestly think that is where it is headed.

A little extra cash for bills. We had a rental house that the renter pretty much turned into a disgusting disaster, so we put $20,000 into it only 2 years ago, then we had it fixed up and got a new renter,( only because it wouldnt sell)  but the furnace went out, so that was $4500, then my son died in a car accident, so my half of the funeral was $3000 plus flowers. Then just other bills, we have a home equity that we are diligently trying to get paid off. I certainly dont make enough to put a dent in anything, but every dollar helps.

Your half of the funeral? I assume you are no longer with his father/mother? The last funeral we had for family we just had a grave side service. Nothing fancy.  And the total was just around $3000. I can't see paying $12,000 for a funeral but a lot of people do.  It is sad you had renters that caused $20,000 worth of damage.  The place beside me sold and the guy that bought it is renting it. I don't know if he has been in the area but they have destroyed it, at least on the outside.  Anyway, yeah every little bit helps.  Even the Amazon codes because you can get about anything on there - assuming you can get it delivered to you.
