According to a news release shared with Fox News, Kevin won the jackpot from an International Game Technology Megabucks slot machine Thursday afternoon around 12:30 p.m. He reportedly put only $40 into the machine before his monumental win.

It was the largest slot machine jackpot Nevada has seen in eight years, according to Boyd Gaming – the owner of Suncoast Casino.

"It was certainly a Christmas Eve to remember," a spokesman from Boyd Gaming told Fox News. "We’re excited and honored we could play a part in this historic holiday jackpot at the Suncoast."

Kevin will never be home alone again. Kevin, a part-time Las Vegas resident will have a very Merry Christmas after hitting the $15.5 million Megabucks jackpot at the Suncoast on Thursday. A $40 investment at 12:30 p.m. led to Kevin capturing the jackpot of $15,491,103 — Nevada’s largest slot machine...

So, is this to make us poor folk jealous because it doesn’t take much nowadays! I mean is Kevin planning to share with Fusion Cash members?

That was amazing!  I have a funny/stupid story about casinos.  When I turned 21 my best friend and I flew from PA to Las Vegas for one week.  This was the first time either one of us had been in a casino.  Remember this was back when Vegas was the only place that had casinos.  We checked into the Riveria (shows how long ago), and went immediately to the casino.  Cashed some money into quarters and headed for the machines.  We played only for a few minutes when my machine stopped and the red light above started spinning and a siren started, I thought I broke the machine and was going to leave when a guy with a suit came over, stopped the light and noise.  Ok I broke it, now what, he looked at me and said congratulations you just won $260 how do you want it.  I got 2 $100 bills, 1 $50, and 1 $10.   After he left I looked at my friend and said a brilliant statement, I made $260 in about 15 minutes, why don’t more people know about this?  We are here for 1 week, can you imagine how much money we will have then?  We can go home in a private jet!  Let’s start playing and making more money!  Oh to be young and stupid again, of course I lost it all and more.  But it still was a fun week.

It was fun, and looking back it’s hard to believe I thought we would be millionaires at the end of 1 week.  Yeah we were young and dumb, but we had a good time.

At my age, I don't think I'd be brave enough to put $40 into a slot machine.  If I get ahead, even a couple of dollars, I usually cash out!!!  Big gambler!!!
