I only decorate for Christmas.  I use to do a lot outside, but I guess we got lazy.  Now the only outside we do are lights on the railings up the front stairs and candles in the windows.  Most decorations are inside.

I have candles for the windows.  I guess I just don't want to fool with turning them off every night.  I might put those up this year. But if I did the cat would probably knock them on to the floor. It's MY window! lol

Tell me about it!  My cats always knock them off.  I usually tape them down and hope for the best, but in the end cats 100, candles 0 they end on the floor!  My husband always says why put them up, but I do, then of course I hear told you so!

I have a scarecrow sitting in the corner of the room.  He is about 2 feet tall and standing on a rectangle wooden base.  Every time I go through the house he is laying on his face.

Christmas is such a special time of the year.  It has its own magical "feel" to me, and I go all out for decorating.  However, the older I get, the less I do. My husband decorates the outside, but I'm not crazy about him being up on a ladder any more.  We need to stick to "safe" decorating.

Given how miserable this year has become (e.g., COVID-19, racial unrest), I look forward to celebrating the Christmas season. Needless to say, I plan on decorating my home, not only to maintain tradition, but to keep my mind on positive things and to close out this horrible year with some much needed positivity.

I decorate for every holiday.  Now that we've downsized and live in apartment, I mostly do indoors, but I do have things I put on the patio.
