Flippy the Robot
« on: September 06, 2020, 05:45:39 am »
If you don't know about Flippy yet (the robot who flips burgers), you've got some katching up to do

This hunk of metal does more than beep and boop.  Flippy is the world's first autonomous robot kitchen assistant, help Quick Service restaurants cut operating costs by about 300%.

But I'm not just here relishing the chance to tell you about Flippy.  Hold onto your buns.

I'm here to tell you that you can actually invest in to this cask cow (flipping robot).  Oh yeah, Flippy's the future of Quick Service Restaurants and your wallet.  Look up Miso Robotics and the first autonomous robotic kitchen assistant!

I saw that recently in the news. The robot seems quite slow in flipping the burger, guess it was for safety reasons dealing with sharp kitchen utensils. My son is really intrigued about it and asked if we can get one. Seems very expensive now, but really cool in terms of how far technology has come.

*sigh*

The only jobs left for humans will be making robots. Until we make robots that make other robots. Then we're screwed.  :(

I have not heard anything about this but if it is true get ready for more fast food restaurants to start going more automated. Eventually one or two people can run an entire McDonald's.  THAT is the result of demands for $15 an hour to flip burgers or fry french fries. You will be replaced with a robot that eventually is paid for and does not require an hourly salary and does not call in sick.  I expect more and more automation.

lol It ain't like he can cut his fingers. haha

Yeah when I was a kid or even in high school I never dreamed things would be like they are today.  Who would have ever dreamed you would basically be carrying a computer around in your pocket - which is pretty much what a smart phone is.

That is a deep thought. But somebody has to make the robot that makes the robot. Unless one of the robots already made gets smart enough to make him so friends. So yeah, we are screwed. lol

So lets see...the bow and arrow has been replaced by the atomic bomb....

We have gone to the moon and cant live in peace on earth......

Plus i believe God created man to have satisfactory work and delight in eating and drinking from it.

Im  not flipping out from Flippy....i was wondering if Flippy could comprehend medium rare?
