I'm so sorry for all the small entrepreneurs who went bankrupt because of these god-damn lockdowns. I live in Europe, and the situation here is pretty similar to the US one. Several places where I used to dine for many years closed down, and many others are still struggling to get going. I also know some people who managed to keep their businesses alive by paying a lot of attention to fiscal details before and during the crisis. Looking at how they managed to avoid bankruptcy, I understand how immensely important it is to be a fiscally responsible person. Good luck!

This has been happening for the last few years.  The Pandemic just escalated closings to happen.

I don't wish COVID on ANYONE and pray desperately for those families it has destroyed, but its impact on one small business was a blessing for me. It gave me the opportunity to get out of one dead end job and career and into one that I was meant for.

Luckily local businesses are reopening now and I am trying my best to support whenever possible. They are raising prices, which I can understand.

This is so sad.  People put their life in their small businesses and then had to close because of Covid.  They lose their income and employees lose their jobs.

There are plenty companies across the Earth that is closing all their stores.  If you weren't essential, then you were laid off/fired.  No jobs mean no shopping as it was before the Pandemic.

This horrible.  Yet it is being reported that a lot of companies are hiring, but then again a lot of people are quitting their jobs.  Which is true?

In fact, my business was also close to going under, but thanks to modern solutions to modern problems I was able to get by with only a small loss in finances, which later managed to pay off. If I had not found the best mobile app development companies earlier, it is unlikely that I would have been able to solve my problem quickly.

Absolutely heartbreaking, totally unnecessary and unbearably cruel.  :sad1:

Hey! I'm really happy that happened for you. Maybe sometime you could elaborate. I'm so interested.

I was a civil attorney for 21 years in a small office where things were just not going well financially due to circumstances outside of my control. COVID was the final nail in that coffin - where I probably still would have remained if COVID hadn't pushed things further into the red.

Instead, through personal reflection and prayer and other networking connections during the tail end of the COVID shutdowns I learned of a newly created position with the local Catholic Charities agency that I applied and interviewed for and was offered a job to run the local office, which had previously been run remotely by another manager from a distance.

I went from a dead end high stress job without a regular paycheck where I was spending more time chasing deadbeats who didn't pay their legal bills into a less stressful and more balanced position where I get paid a regular paycheck to live out the Gospel message every day to other less fortunate people in the local community.

Much more to the story on BOTH ends of the transition. But that's it in a nutshell since you asked.   ;)

And what is YOUR gospel message that you tell less fortunate people?

Not really in the mood to be attacked or belittled or accused of blasphemy, so please respect my choice to not share that with you. This is NOT something I will take any bait to debate. But thanks for asking.

It is not the reason that I do it, but I have received quite a bit of gratitude from the vast majority of folks that I have tried to assist. That is my reward - knowing that I have made a positive difference in someone's life from their own words in telling me so.

There is enuff witnessing starting with Hitch for years to come.I had a feeling you were gonna plead the 5th.I was asking genuine. You should know most of the doctrines from us without thinking we would attack you.

Ill be patient and still answer your biblical questions if you ever have a need to know or discuss.

Thanks for letting us know that you've made a great comeback. That's really encouraging. I sense that you're a pretty good guy and I like knowing that you're spreading the good news as well. Hallelujah!  :notworthy:
