Joke floating around (but timely)

Did you hear about the coin shortage?

Apparently, America is (literally) out of common cents (sense)

At the grocery store where I shop there is a sign on the self checkout registers saying to please use cards or exact change due to the national coin shortage.   :o

There are signs every where that say use exact change or cards and no cash back on cards. Or consider just donating your change to the store. But yet I never see we will just donate whatever over the dollar amount to you the customer.

lol Probably not. But it is funny they ask me to just give them my change but if my total is 12.03 they won't take the 3 cent loss.  :D

I'm surprised people still use cash and coins. I can't remember the last time I had cash in my wallet. I used to have an emergency $100 in it, but my husband stole it. Lol!

The joke is funny.

The situation of some stores not using/allowing legal tender of cash and coin is NOT funny.
Sure, cards are convenient.  But I do not want a cashless society.

I like that joke, it made me laugh.  We could all use a little more of that these days!

I noticed that a lot of places are plastic only, because they don't want Covid-contaminated cash.
