Received higher reward than advertised

I just completed a Tap Research survey where the advertised reward was .11, but upon completion, I received .19. It was good to see since sometimes we get a lower amount than what is advertised.

I love when that happens.

I do not seem to have much problem with a lower pay amount than advertised. My problem is advertised time like when the survey is supposed to be 5 minutes but takes 15 minutes for a very low pay out.

Oh wow that's totally cool! Yes I agree with bostonphil, I hate when they say 8 minutes and then at the start of the survey it tells you it will take about 20 minutes. Or it doesn't tell you anything and it ends up being 30 minutes. I really like the ones that show how far along you are with a percentage line, that makes it a bit more tolerable. But if the survey is actually interesting (which IMO very few are), then I don't mind the extra time.  (as much!)

Yaay, that's always fun.  Sometimes when I'm re-routed to a different survey, the pay changes.  That has happened many times before but as I think back with all of my activity on Tap Research, I don't recall getting extra incentive. Congrats.  An extra 8 cents will add up.

Congrats. That rarely happens, but it's always exciting when it does. I guess it might be because you answered a few questions and they didn't think you were a good fit for the original survey so they redirected you to another, higher paying one.

That is so great!  I don't think that has ever happened to me, but I am happy for you!  Maybe I will get surprised one day!!

What a delightful surprise for you.  It may be just a few cents, but it was unexpected, and that's always fun!  I'm with bostonphil.  Those surveys that advertise one amount of time and end up being three times as long are very frustrating.
