The fall tv season may be late
« on: August 03, 2020, 04:48:09 am »
Some of our favorite tv shows may be late returning in the fall due to the covid19 pandemic. Because of this some shows had to put filming on hold until it was safe enough to record new episodes.

I'm still waiting for Fargo which was originally going to be out months ago.....but they still do not have a date.  I am also waiting on Ratched on Netflix which was originally going to be out last fall.

It's to be expected but we'll see if some pop up earlier than expected.

Yes, I have heard this and was expecting it.  I am a bit disappointed but everyone has to stay safe no matter their career. I have watched a lot of re-runs.  I am a true crime fan and have probably watched a few of them 3-4 times now!

Fargo was supposed to be out on April 19 - darn near when this whole mess shut everything down. It was tough enough that we had to wait almost three years from season 3 wrap to season 4 broadcast - then shortly before it was supposed to drop we get hit with the indefinite delay!

I had seen reports that they were supposed to resume filming in mid-August, but unsure if that is still the case with the upsurge in COVID numbers.

This is to be expected due to the circumstances.  When they do come back on it will make us appreciate them that much more.  I am glad to see that some of the soap operas have started airing new episodes.

That is to be expected, we have been binge watching a lot of  old movies and  re-runs of tv shows from last season. These current circumstances just makes it very difficult to  even say when the fall season will start. I know we will all be happy when it does.
