Sugary sweets is my problem too.  It's not only bad for weight maintenance but also teeth, blood sugar, and skin.  Way to go for deciding to kick it  :highfive:

Wow! That weight loss is wonderful, metsrock69! My weight loss story is very similar to yours. I weighed about 316 a couple of years ago, but then I started eating more sensibly (with occasional cheat days) and stopped drinking sodas (even though I was drinking diet sodas).  I had read that diet sodas kind of set you up for cravings, so I just started drinking water almost all of the time. Without really thinking about it much, I ended up getting down to 270, much to my surprise!  I guess I just kind of changed my eating habits and kind of didn't think about food as much as I used to. Anyway, congratulations again on your wonderful weight loss!  :peace: :heart:
