Everyone should known it was a hoax from the beginning.  You put a six year old kid in a balloon alone and he is going to scream his head off, especially without mom or dad being in there with him.  The greedy *bleep* parents should be made to pay big time for that stupid stunt.  Will people ever learn.

I wish people would stop blaming the parent's because it is the kids fault.

Are you joking?  A six year old boy who was told to hide in a box in the attic while his parents pulled a stupid publicity stunt (and in the process broke numerous laws)...and it's the kid's fault?  Perhaps you should read a bit more into the story.

I WISH YOU WOULD STOP QUOTING ONE SENTANCE OUT OF MY POST AND READ THE ENTIRE THING....THIS IS VERY IRRITATING! I WAS TALKING IN GENERAL ABOUT KIDS BECAUSE A LOT OF THE TIMES IT IS THE KIDS FAULT AND A LOT OF THE TIMES PARENT'S CANNOT CONTROL THEIR KIDS AND IT IS NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE BAD PARENT'S! USUALLY I DON'T REPLY TO YOU DOING THIS AND I DID NOW.

I have not heard or read anything that points the blame to the kids in this fiasco.  Yes, it is true and a sad fact of life that bad kids can be associated with good parents, but I think that in many or most cases, it's just neglectful parenting and bad kids in the mix together.  At any rate, parents ARE 100% responsible for their kids actions.

In this story the "balloon boys" parents will be most likely punished for their actions.  Authorities have said they won't be bringing any charges against the three minor children, but the parents could be facing counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, attempting to influence a public servant and conspiracy.

Well, I guess that's what they get for conspiring to be completely ridiculous.

this family is obviously starving for attention, just crazy. i think that they should have to pay for their stupid act. the life of your child is nothing to play around with i mean seriously. as a mother i was outraged. they tried to make us think that he fell out of the balloon and my heart hurt at that moment but to find out it was a hoax for a reality show, i say put them in jail and make them pay for the publicity stunt and the police who took time out to look for him. >:(

I wish you would stop making disorganized posts, but that's not going to happen now is it?
