Well for me the boycott will be easy because I never really used that type of product anyhow.

So you are not really boycotting. It would be like be boycotting Bush Beer.  I don't buy it so saying I am boycotting it is nonsense.

Just more noise it seems....not sure if it's actually going to happen much or not...people react too much to everything....

It is like everything else. Some will stop buying it and others will start.  You are right about the "reacting" but most react on social media only.  My cousin was supposedly mad about the NFL and kneeling for the National Anthem. Yeah let's boycott.  So now she turns the game on after they play the National Anthem. ::)  My uncle on the other hand has not watched a game since.

Do the boycott people have a notebook or something to keep track of all the brands they are boycotting? It seems really exhausting to get all worked up over trivial things.

"The illegals want to come here for a free ride.  All they gotta do is get across the border and it is free health care, free housing, free money, free food, free everything"
Illegals DO NOT get anything of those things free, if they have a child in the US the child gets it but not the parents.  For you to get Medicaid and food thru the government you need to be LEGAL, they really check the information and recheck every 6 months to a year.

I am not, never have a been Illegal, I was born in the US (my dad was military my mom is Latin), when they divorced my mother took me brother and me back to her native country, were we grew up and when we were adults we decided to come to our country of birth.  I had never used the system for anything!  Not even on my most difficult Monetary times, and I really hope I will never have to.  but my youngest daughter became a mom at the age of 18 and she had to apply for Medicaid for her daughter since I could not add her to my Insurance.  And she was checked and rechecked for 3 months before they approve the insurance for her baby.  My daughter is a US Citizen, and they still made sure that she was not FAKING her documents, and it was insurance for the Baby not for her, and when they approve the Medicaid, for an 18 years old with No job, and going to College still they told her that SHE could not be approve only the BABY! since she could be on mine without issues there was no big deal.  And DID NOT approve her for WIC, even though she did not worked at the time and she is a full time College Student.

So no, illegals cannot get free ride like you seem to believe.

You're entire story had nothing to do with anything about illegals not being able to get a free ride... just a story about you & your daughter who are both legal; & if you claimed your daughter on your income tax as a dependent, that is probably why she didn't qualify for WIC, they count your income as hers.

In California, illegals are considered undocumented citizens & get the same benefits as any citizen claiming for government assistance, including free medical & college tuition through the state.

I Do NOT claim my daughter on my taxes she started claiming herself as soon as she turned 18, they just told her that she did not qualify, because the DAD (who wash his hands once my daughter got pregnant and does not even show on the birth certificate) that she could reapply in 6 months if her conditions change.  I was trying to point out that we are legals and it was really hard for her to get Medical for her daughter because, at least in VA, for you to get "Government help" you have to proof that you are legal and the system checks and rechecks your papers before they even allow you on the system.  So I was pointing out that the Illegals have a very hard time to get any Government help.
