It has been a crazy year, but we tend to go through cycles of major discontent in this country. Also, change can be good. I think we need it. If we didn't, there wouldn't be any uprisings right now. :)

Everything is getting messed up and emotional.. and people are getting offended and things are changing..

That's nothing new. It's even like that here on the forum. Especially people getting emotional and offended. Hahaha!
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

This is the worst year ever!  My dad passed away, I've had a hard time trying to settle his estate, I was in a car accident that totaled my car (not my fault), my mother has been hospitalized a few times and isn't doing well, and I lost a good portion of my vision in one of my eyes due to a medical condition.  I am so READY for this year to be over!!!!

I am so sorry for your troubles. This year has been crap!  I really hope things get better for you and yours.💕🧡

Yes had a lot of plans for this year that have been put on hold. But so far me and my family have been healthy. I think that is the best you can hope for.

I was talking to my daughter about how things were last year.  It was right there for all to see.  The weather changed where before there was no change in weather.  Take this year, we didn't have as much snow this year as last year.  There are people creating diseases and they have no vaccine to stop the disease in people.  Things are happening for a reason people and it caught the whole word into it's grasp.  A disease that is killing so many and yet no anecdote to cure the problem.  As I said this is just the beginning.

We have to take one day at a time because we don't know what tomorrow will bring and we can't change things.  It's more going on in this year than I have ever experienced in my lifetime.  I have never seen worldwide issues like what's taking place now.  Hope everyone stays safe.

What is even worse (at least on my end), I had some very high hopes for 2020. I was very dedicated in my new years resolutions. But the combination of COVID-19, racial tensions, and the moron running the U.S. into the ground, essentially derailed a lot for me and reduced my motivation.

I really can identify with you!  The insurance company gave us back refunds for not driving, then wham! The state increases the necessary liability which increases the premium!  Gave back 20.00 took over 80.00 on my auto policy!

Bigger Fire needed!

A new day is dawning perhaps.  Change is sometimes painful but sometimes beneficial.

It is not a disease. It is a virus. What difference does it make if you have less snow this year than last year? Our weather is always different. But the over all average it is about the same.

Not really. It is just that everybody is constantly connected and knows everything that goes on every where all the time. If they updated the flu numbers like that are cov you would be afraid to come out of your house over the flu. Also, it is all about who and what you choose to believe. Nurses in hospitals every where are saying they are lying. They have NO patients. They are in no danger or running out of vents, which 99.9% of people will never need anyway. There was something I saw last night where at one hospital all their tests were coming back positive. So they sent in a total of 12 unused tests and ALL of those came back as positive. ::) Of course you won't believe that because you choose to buy in to the fear.

Covid cases are going up cause people arnt wearing masks when they should.  Or social distancing. It's a crazy year for sure.

lol Masks do not have anything to do with it. They have said repeatedly that wearing a mask will not keep you from betting sick.  As far as social distancing that needs to be banned from vocabulary. You are free to stay home. Some people can't. If you believe that virus will float through the air 6 feet then just stop you are crazy.  A sneeze can travel as much as 30 feet. I guess we all stay home with what we have and slowly one by one you die. Because you can't breathe where somebody else has or touch anything somebody else has touched.

The reasons for masks are to contain droplets and aerosols that are easily spread when people sneeze, cough, or talk in an animated fashion.  Social distancing is here for the same reason.  They are called "precautions," and anyone who values their own health or other peoples' should be taking such precautions.  Some things are common sense and just respectful.  You should be able to see how the viral cases are exploding, especially in states where people think like you.

This has been QUITE the year! I came into it optimistic and ready and now I'm just hoping to stop the sickness- both medically and mentally.  I pray things will get better soon for us all.

I'm sure it can but I hope it doesn't.

I agree, it’s been a strange year so far.  First the pandemic with thousands dying, wearing masks, etc, then the racial problems we have had.  I can’t imagine it getting worse.

My hope is that now that states are starting to require masks to be used the number of cases of infections start to fall.
