Shutting down the Police Departments
« on: June 15, 2020, 06:55:58 am »
Can you imagine if all police departments were shut down.  Lawlessness would rein supreme.  You can expect the police to do right and you can train and make rules about how to deal with people who resist the police and do wrong but if we do away with the law all we will achieve is chaos.

We would be back to the days of the "old west" where you are shot in the street and your body is buried and that is that.

Critical times hard to deal with since 1914.

Proof in the pudding.

Satan blinding many?Is that an understatement or what?

Jesus warned of an upcoming tribulation in the world in the last days that if the days were not cut short no flesh would be saved.

You can watch the experiment going down in CHAZ , the new 6 block country established in Seattle right now -- without police, someone rises up to fill that spot, now they have a warlord.

I've purchase my first weapon, a shotgun, & am currently waiting for the California gun checks to go through so I can legally obtain it.  It will be one of many firearms my family will be purchasing, & then receiving training for.  God Bless the 2nd Amendment as our country is becoming Clown World.

Yeah, not having a police force is probably a really, really bad idea. I think that getting rid of the police officers that have a really bad record may be a good idea, but the others could probably just go through some reform and retraining. But not having a police force at all? That's incredibly naive and crazy!  :peace:

At the same time, there is a small group of Bible Students ( I am one of those students ) who enjoy peaceful surroundings with our Spiritual brothers and sisters and Congregation meetings on a weekly basis.

We also look forward to our Assemblies and Conventions where thousands of us are in one facility where there is no need for the police or any other type of law enforcement.

Of course we did all of this before Covid-19 but we're still peaceful and still enjoy our association via Zoom meetings.

Just one small example of things to come in a much better way of life - The Real Life!

I think if all police departments were shut down, it would seem like an episode of The Walking Dead (aka more gangs, people gathering weapons to "protect" themselves, people forming communities that take care themselves, etc.).

However, if you are alluding to the Defund the Police campaigns, those are not calling for eradications of police forces. Those campaigns call for police budgets to be cut and the potential funds to be reallocated elsewhere - education, housing, public health, etc.
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

By shutting down all police departments, if someone reports a crime like burglary, no one will ever respond. I have nothing against cops but sometimes we may need them if crime happens. Without them, crimes will go unreported. But I am against police corruption.

Ridiculous!!  We do not want to shut down our police departments.  We want to demand that they fix things.  We need to hold them to higher standards so that issues of police brutality become a thing of the past.  There needs to be a culture shift in the departments so good officers can come forward to report actions of bad officers without being punished.

Just because a bunch of thug terrorists hijack a portion of a town and "rename" it does not mean that is it's name.

Good officers do not need to go through "retraining".  I hate that word.  If I am working on a job and I do my job correctly and well I do not need to be "retrained" because some idiot stole money from the company, or beat the crap out of a customer.  RETRAIN that person. Not the entire staff.

People may start disappearing and you never know what happened to them as well. lol  Crime won't go "unpunished".
