My salon has been opened for a month now and it was fabulous going back!  I was required to wear a mask and only 10 people could be in the shop at a time.

Hair salons started reopening in my area about a week ago. I want to try out a new stylist but she is already fully booked until August! I found an opening for a Saturday in August so I'll just have to wait patiently.

Just curious, but do you glue the mask on your face during the actual haircutting? Sure seems like it would interfere.

I think you'd have to wear the kind that hooks around your ears, not the kind that wraps around your head.

My hair is the longest it has been in a LOOOONNGG time.  I have an appointment this week on Thursday after work.

I will have my hair trimmed and restyled into a longer style as this growing out period has given me a new style that I actually like.  A good shaping by the salon will make it manageable.

Not yet, but I have an appointment on Saturday at Ulta.  Have to wear a face mask and call them when you get there.  You have to wait outside until they call you and tell you you can come in.

Had to wear a mask. only 2 hairstylists and 2 clients allowed in at a time.
Wasn't to sure if i wanted to do it but when i got there and saw the setup i felt safe. :rainbow: :peace:

The barbers are open in my state, but I still had my brother come over to cut mine. Didn't want to mess with the wait or the new procedures.

Our county went green today. Restaurants and grooming salons opened today. Hair dressers only allowed by appointment only and only one at a time. That has to still hurt them..of course, they'll have enough work now for at least a year depending on how many clients they have. So I'll wait a while. Restaurants at 50% capacity inside but allow outside dining on the sidewalks if no courtyard. Some of the restaurants in my area are small in width so I don't see how they could have outside dining. Two outside tables would fill up their space. There were a bunch of new restaurants that opened right before COVID hit so they didn't have a chance to get established. Some aren't opening until July because of the restrictions.

Not yet, but I have actually been able to trim my own hair with a razor so it isn't as bad as it was....someday I will get it done, but I'm just not ready to go into the shop yet.

Yes I have, but in our area only by appointments No walk in) and my hairdresser did temperature check and I had to  answer questions on paper  and provide my  contact information; I guess should there be a  possibility of exposure contact tracers can let you know. It was only my stylist and I in salon and of course she disinfects between clients; no more waiting in salon if she is running later on another client; have to wait in your car and she text when she is ready for you to come in. It worked out fine for me.
