Alaska the last frontier
« on: June 09, 2020, 04:53:21 am »
Does anyone watch the "Alaska the last frontier" shows or "Mountain Men"?  I love them.  When I was young my best friend and I talked about moving to Alaska after high school.  Wow I was crazy but we never did and I know now at 66 and watching that show I am way too much of a cream puff to make it living there LOL

I don't think I've watched either show. I have watched Ice Road Truckers before.
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

I watch Mountain Men a lot and I've  seen Alaska the Last Frontier a few times.  I also used to watch Ice Road Truckers.

I don’t think I would ever want to live there, I hate snow, but I heard it’s a beautiful state in the summer.

My son lives there and I visited a few times to fish. I could probably do as well there as I do living in the rain, since I can always come inside and turn the heat up, since I have nowhere to go and all day to get there. I talked to him yesterday as he was headed out to the Kenia to snag some Sockeye Salmon and it reminded me of last summer when I brought home a cooler filled with 45 pounds of frozen filets.

Yes I have watched Ice Road Truckers before also.  When they are driving over those froze lakes it makes me wince - that is some unnerving stuff there.

My Husband loves this show. I will sit with him and watch it and I actually get into it. I have always wanted to visit Alaska.
