sharing a mask
« on: June 07, 2020, 01:30:20 pm »
Today I went to the grocery store and on the way home I stopped in at the convenience store.  While I was at the register a young man came in without a mask.  The clerk told him he could not come in without a mask (there's a sign posted on the door).  As I was walking to my car the man came up to me and asked if he could borrow my mask  :o  I told him no.
When I was in my car I saw him ask somebody else and to my surprise they took off their mask and  gave it to him  :o :o (apparently they didn't want it back because they drove off)

That does not sound healthy, but at least the person did no take the mask back. All the same, not something I would do.

Haha! Sharing a mask defeats the purpose of wearing one in the first place!
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

Now that is just wrong. It is not that much effort nowadays to get a mask. A few months ago when this first started maybe but now they are more available  :peace:

That is so no good, I do not share even woth my husband and daughter and we live together, I would probably keep on of those disposable ones in the car to give to someone who might need it but I will never share.

The guy should have went back to his car or asked someone if they had anything, like a bandana or something that he could transform into a mask. But never use one someone else has worn.

Yes! There are plenty of things people have used to cover their faces. But to ask for someone else's mask...? Eeew!
