There are a lot of things about this pandemic that don't make sense....like how people are making more $ on unemployment, people are spending crazy amounts of $ they don't have, and people not following social distancing guidelines....people don't seem to be learning much...I fear we'll all just go "back to normal" when things start opening up

It is easy to understand. The government is giving people on unemployment an extra $600 a week.  Combine that with the unemployment and people are making $875 to up over $1000 a week.

Not sure about people spending crazy amounts of money they do not have. You just said how they are making more money than they were making working so obviously they have the money to spend. As far as the social distancing I guess it depends on where you live. In my immediate area nobody paid much attention to the suggestions. There was never a stay at home mandate. But even then you could go to the grocery store, pharmacy, and other "essential" places that was open.  What is even more hilarious is not only did everybody still go every where we have practically NO cases.

I honestly do not see "normal" ever happening again.  It is like a friend said "the world you knew a few weeks ago in gone".  Things will never be the same again.

The chaos will never end.  People fight about everything and want to control every one else.  The best thing you can do is mind your own business and if it is not something that directly effects you keep walking and don't worry about it.  There was a discussion the other day about the "one way aisles" at Walmart and someone said nobody at our Walmart pays any attention to it.  You do have the random "karen" who tries to control other customers but it usually ends up with them being told off.

If I go to town I get what I need, mind my own business, and leave. I do not care what anybody else does. Could care less how you walk in an aisle, wear a mask or don't, just do your thing and leave me alone and we will get along fine.  ;D
