Good luck with that. Even if you are planning to go to church, you are still going to have to do social distancing and wear protective equipment such as gloves and face mask. Not everyone likes this but we have no choice.

You do have a choice. And only a few ignorant faithless churches require a mask and gloves. A couple of local churches never stopped doing their regular thing thru all of this. And not one person in that church has gotten sick.

I don’t want to start a war, but I do take offensive to you calling churches that require masks/gloves ignorant and faithless.

Then you will just have to take offense.  When this first started I was concerned. I have since woke up. I have seen the light. Stop listening to the media.  And if you do then pay attention to how everything they say they contradict themselves and say it both ways.

If you want to wear a mask then by all means wear one.  But shunning people who chose not to wear a mask or gloves in church or any where else is just as wrong. My state does not have a if you go out of your house you have to wear a mask mandate. People are ignorant.  The Bible says if you have as little faith as a grain of mustard seed (which is TINY) you can move mountains.  And you don't trust God to keep you safe when you go to church? That does not make sense to me.  It goes both ways.  You have to hear both sides.  Our church has not opened back up yet but it is fixing to.  The pastor's wife has said some pretty snarly stuff about people not wishing to wear a mask.  To not cause problems those who wish not to wear a mask will not attend.

You seem to be one of the ones who wears a mask and that is fine.  I do not care who wears a mask.  But there IS a problem when they try to start something with me for not wearing one.  I have never said anything to anyone for having a mask on, never made fun of them, never been smart about it. And I expect the same respect. You have your mask on so you are protected. So don't worry about me. I have actually seen idiots pull their mask up and cough out in to the air (not covering their mouth either). SO WHY do you even have the mask on.  I have seen people touching all over their face WITH their gloves on.  ::)  So what is the point in the gloves?

You said you don't want to start a war. But it actually pretty much is to that point.  The ones who are scared to death and wear a mask and gloves are trying to control every one else and it is not going to fare well for them.  The ones who do not wear a mask and gloves go about their day and don't bother anyone, don't care, and don't snarl off or shoot evil looks at the ones all masked up.

The TRUE God Jehovah does NOT approve of ministry or large gatherings where the virus is.

If we dont take his instruction we will reap what we sow.

They are using Zoom and the internet to still get their spiritual food.

Be smart.

“Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a man is sowing, this he will also reap; because he who is sowing with a view to his flesh will reap corruption from his flesh, but he who is sowing with a view to the spirit will reap everlasting life from the spirit.”—Gal. 6:7, 8.

I still have a problem calling any church ignorant and faithless.  I was always taught never to make fun of any religion or place of worship.  As far as CG, I have no choice but to wear a mask.  I am fighting stage 3 breast cancer and I also have COPD if I get it my chances of survival are zero.  I don’t care who does or doesn’t wear a mask, like I have said it’s a personal choice you have to make, but I don’t ridicule anyone who wears one or doesn’t wear one, I realize CG does not wear one and that’s fine, it’s her choice. So I have no idea why she thinks I made fun of her, there may be a health reason it’s on a person.  As far as she stated I was trying to start something with her, how, by stating don’t call churches ignorant?   My state also has a mandate wear masks when outside, you cannot go into any establishment without one.  And yes, I trust God to take care of me, but I also put faith in my doctors to take care of me and my pulmonary dr said wear one   It’s funny as I typed the first statement I knew this would cause a major discussion, which I did not want to happen,  As old buddy said, “I am not going to risk the few years I have left”.

All my life I have heard people complain about having to go to work go to church having to go anywhere from home.    Now what I hear is opposite of that.  I like staying home.  Even as tired of being crowded with my grandkids here.  I would much rather stay home than,  having to go to work.  I like not having to get kids up and take them to school.  This is a type of freedom for me.
I am getting fed up with people that won't believe that this is serious.  Since these people can't guarantee that I won't get sick and I won't die.  I think I will still believe and take this virus seriously.  I don't live in fear.  I don't think that I am being lied to about the seriousness of this virus.  I also won't take the risk of my getting someone else sick.

I find it funny that some that *uck up to these government officials are the first ones to say SCAM!!LOL!!

Pretty wishy washy eh?

It only takes 1 positive case to infect a large gathering.

I told you all what Gods stance is on this.NO large meetings or ministry where virus is.Be careful when going out for essentials.

I guess that makes perfect sense for you. The United States death count from corona virus is currently at eighty five thousand. Iowa ranks number twenty nine in total number of deaths, averaging ninety seven people per population of a million dying, three hundred and seventy seven new cases today. Woodbury (bordering Nebraska), Blackhawk (couple hour drive from Illinois and Minnesota near Cedar Rapids) and Polk(couple hour drive from Illinois and Minnesota near Des Moines) counties have higher virus penetrations so if you really want to test your immunity while grabbing a bite to eat and going to church-those are hot spots to visit. Being tired of having to endure limits is as good a reason as any to risk your life and the lives of others.

No good reason?  Getting really sick and dying isn't a good enough reason?

You are not going to get sick nor are you going to die. Wake up!

Well I hope not but who are you that you are sure that this is not going to happen?
Shes not afraid to die cos she thinks shes going to heaven...lol!

Dreamy some advice.Take precautions getting essentials.Avoid crowds for now if u dont have to be there.

The bible commands Gods people to preach the kingdom but NOT in areas where the virus exists. They are doing their meetings over the net for now and the ministry has been put on hold.Divine instruction.

Can we get back on topic? Jeez louise, people...

Also, wear a mask and please wash your hands. This virus is deadly. I hate the lockdown crap too (I'm freaking engaged and have no idea when our new wedding date will be,) but I also don't want to get sick. I'm scared to death of my loved ones contracting this virus and possibly dying as well. This attitude is why numbers are spiking again. :(

I am so very glad that most people have a respect for the lives of others and will not do anything  deliberately to endanger others.  I will continue to do my best to social distance not only for my sake but also for the sake of others.  Since I have God with me at all times, I can worship at all times and anywhere, as long as I want. So I am not operating in fear staying home but in wisdom.  Greater is He(God) that is in me than he that is in the world.

I agree with this.
Several of my family members are front line workers (nurses, firemen, police), and this is real.     Many people are sick for weeks not just a couple of days.  Many people are dying.  Fine if you do not want to follow guidelines but why should people who are doing everything right be put at risk because of your selfishness.

Then, as I said, you will have to have a problem with it.  I don't know what else to tell you.  I did not say every person in every church is faithless.  And I did not make fun of anybody.

You can wear a mask.  That is fine.  I have repeatedly said that people who want to wear a mask can wear one and that is just great. Just don't try to shove your choice on me.

I also find it laughable the way you are talking "about" me in this post. lol   The thing with this forum is you cannot have a "discussion" because the majority just want to fight.  My state does not have a mandate that if you go outside of your home you have to have a mask on. IF our local WM puts that mandate in place then yes if I enter their store I will wear one.

Here is a thought for you - the CDC has said the mask will not keep you from getting this virus. But if it makes you feel safer to wear it then by all means do so.  I honestly do not care what other people do, say, or think.  It amazes me at how people get so bent on what somebody else thinks. It does not effect you in any way.

I honestly do know know what your problem is with me.  No where was I ‘talking about you’ I. was only stating what you said and I disagreed with it, if you, took offense  I apologize that was not my intention.  I have stated I don’t care who does or does not wear a mask, just like I don’t care who does or does not stay 6 feet apart, it’s none if my business or concern.  I will wear one as long as there are active cases due to my major health reasons.  As of ‘wanting to fight’ you read my reply wrong, that again was not my intention I was just giving my opinion,
