Neither, and ill back it up with what wise King Solomon said in Eccl 8:9.
New International Version
All this I saw, as I applied my mind to everything done under the sun. There is a time when a man lords it over others to his own hurt.
And then put the cherry on top with Jermiah 10:23
Jeremiah 10:23 King James Version (KJV)
23 O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
Donnamarg323, if you do not vote, then you're allowing others to vote for you and you have no voice at all. Quoting scripture on the forum is nice, but it will not decide the better candidate for anyone. Surely you can pick the lesser of two evils if you don't like either one.
Look at the issues and think about what you want this country to stand for and vote. It's your right and your privilege. Remember "Votes For Women." They fought hard for it back in the day.
Linder as a child my dad was a big democrat,so the influence of that was instilled in me.But i also said i dont vote cos as the bible scriptures mean men will never govern this world for the way God intended it to be and thats by HIS rule.
Now since he is NOT ruling this world it would be quite chaotic if there was no rule at all.I also understand that some politicians might mean well and try to help, but in the long run when i have mentioned how many undertstand the line in the Lords Prayer,"Let your kingdom come ON earth"?I hope i am fortunate to see that kind of world.
A God of love would never approve of the 6000 yrs of mans existence governing himself, thats why Jesus said his kingdom was NO part of this world....its still under Satans.Hard to argue it isnt.
Voting for a man?Ill pass but still pay my taxes, obey the laws and be kind to others.
