Children during Quarantine and how hard it is for them
« on: April 08, 2020, 04:53:40 am »
This quarantine is very hard on all of us, but I really thing that the children are the ones suffering the most.  Little ones, under the age of maybe 8, and autistic children are the ones that are taking the quarantine the hardest.  They don't understand what is happening and why we are all home and not able to do what we always do.  Parks are closed and they can't go to school or play with their friends.  It is very difficult.

We try to get my grand-kids outside to a field that we have on my neighborhood to play with *bleep* or bubbles, so they can burn some energy but it is scary and frustrating, how do explain to a 3 and a 4 year old that they cannot do what they are so used to doing.  I do not have any autistic child but it has to be even more difficult for those parents, since they live on routines and they really do not understand.  Very, very  :( how our lives have change.
