Easter Sunday!
« on: April 05, 2020, 05:07:40 pm »
Next week is Easter Sunday.  Thinking maybe I should look into states that are not on lockdown and find a church to go to!

JW.org will celebrate The Memorial online of Passover this Tues the 7th of Jesus death. The only command he gave to celebrate.

There is NOOOO ministry or meetings cos of the virus in ALL 240 lands.I suggest you look for something online or check out JW.org.

The bible said critical times hard to deal with will be signs of this Satanic/manmade system coming to an end.

Right now, there are states that are not on lockdown.

There are only a few states I know with no lockdown order. That is North and South Dakota, Nebraska, South Carolina, and Wyoming.

Here is the list of states with lockdown order in case anyone wants to know.

I don't think any churches will be open because of the distance apart from each other.

Missouri has not closed all of it's restaurants.  My husband has a brother there.  Checking into for possible road trip.

Is it really worth the risk to go to one at this point ? Like I get how your faith in this is really high but is it really worth the risk to in-danger yourself ?

I hope you are not serious. ::)

I would urge anyone to stay and pray at home during this time. Many churches are offering services live streamed online through Facebook or YouTube or some other option. We have three Catholic churches in my town that share the same priests. They have an online Mass each Sunday, with many other prayer and devotional sessions through the week - Rosary, Stations of the Cross, Divine Mercy chaplet, etc. plus one of our priests hosts a twice a week video chat to just talk about whatever people want to chat about. He ends each chat with the closing phrase: Stay Healthy, Stay Holy, Stay Home.

You are kidding I hope.  This is a serious virus and everyone is saying stay home!  I fully understand wanting to go to church, especially on Easter, but make an exception this year and stay home.  As our state’s Physician General, says everyday, ‘stay calm, stay safe, and STAY HOME’

I can't remember an Easter, when I wasn't in church. I'll be celebrating the death and resurrection of Christ, as always, but in a different way.

I don't think it is worth the risk to travel to a state not on lockdown. How do you know that that state SHOULD be on lockdown and just isn't because they have a jerk governor or some other political reason that isn't right. You also take the chance of being a carrier yourself even if you have no symptoms and you would turn out to be somebody who brought the virus into a state not on lockdown yet. It just seems too risky a thing to do.

It definitely IS different not being able to gather together to worship each Sunday.  Easter is always such a jubilant service.

But, for me and my house, we will worship from home via online streaming.
