You joined on April 1 and it is April 3 and you are already trying to "update" account information? Why did you not put it in correctly to start with? Something does not sound right with this? Is this a 2nd account?

You joined on April 1 and it is April 3 and you are already trying to "update" account information? Why did you not put it in correctly to start with? Something does not sound right with this? Is this a 2nd account?

Of course something wouldn't sound right to you.  Because I tried these days to update my information thinking support actually existed.  Why did I not put in correctly to start with?  Well lets see, I wasn't offered that option.  I was asked simple registration questions, nothing else regarding the information that is required to participate in any decent survey.

Why don't you go into your account to update your profile? All the info to change is there and it's all kinds of changes you can make from email address to type of emails you want to receive to photo, to more. I get it. You're a newbie and don't follow instructions. Just want to gripe and not give FC a chance. If I was FC, I'd ignore you too since you probably didn't read the instructions.

I bet you're a competitor or just someone who likes to make trouble. Go away. This is a great site and if you can't follow directions, you're the problem, even to posting LINKS which is AGAINST THE RULES.

I don't know how you got your post on here with a foul word in it. It surprises me that it got through the censors, but it doesn't surprise me that you said it since Newbies seem to be notorious for not being patient enough to understand how to do this site and so they just place blame. Bad attitudes don't help anything. 

It would have been much more constructive if you had simply asked the question in a nice manner because people on this site are very happy to help anyone who asks.

I suggest you just leave and find a site you like better and see how you do. FCers are pretty cool people and I have the utmost respect for them. You, at this point, not so much.

Why would you think that support doesn't exist when you clearly had an error on a page? It happens. Clear out your temp files, try another browser, wait a day or 2. Maybe it's an issue on your end. That's what I'd do anyhow, instead of throwing a tizzy-fit

P.S.   What is wrong with being a newbie?   We all were at one time.   All survey sites need newbies to survive, including FC.

Newbies are like Millennials. Most of them are actually pretty well mannered and hard-working, but there a few who tend to be very vocal and act like entitled little brats and somehow the attitudes and work ethics of those few seem to spread across the board as to how much of the older generation (and more established FC members) perceive the group as a whole.


It may be an incorrect stereotype of the entire group, but those few bad apples really spoil the reputation of the rest of their group. Most newbies who come out spitting fire are those who never take the time to learn or understand the system and immediately begin making false scam accusations. Thankfully, some newbies take the time to learn and then become the seasoned veteran users that most of us are here.
