Put something on your hands/fingers that has a strong smell, like maybe a perfume you have there at the house.  Refresh several times a day.  Maybe the smell will be a reminder as you raise your hands toward your face!

The cone idea and wearing socks on hands sound like a good idea and is also funny.

My brother came up with a pretty good idea.

Yes!  I've seen memes similar to this.  It is hard not to touch your face.  If you are at home and haven't touched anything questionable, don't worry about it.  When out, like at the store, I take kleenex with me. I always have my pockets stuff with them anyway, and I will sometimes use them if I have to touch my face.  It always seems itchy, especially when I'm out and shouldn't touch it.  I did see a Dr who said you don't have to be afraid of the virus.  All you have to do is wash your hands and NOT touch your face.  If you absolutely have to touch it wash your hands first.

Now when I'm at work and my face itches I use a tissue to scratch it.  At home I don't worry about touching my face.

Yes, keep those hands and fingernails clean.  Great tip.

If you have been consistently washing your hands, I don't know why touching your face is such a problem.  :dontknow: Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Of course the real solution to that problem is don't go out.

One of the methods I heard was put hot chili pepper juice on your hands, one touch would probably retrain you!  LOL

From CDC, they advised never touched your face, nose, eyes, or ears without first washing your hands. If you cough, try to cover with a tissue or face mask.

When we were kids my mom would put hot sauce on our thumbs to keep us from sucking it.  I would say try that by putting hot sauce on your finger tips and the first time you touch your face you will learn quickly.  Just saying LOL.

It worked for all us as kids and none of us sucked their thumb.

I rarely go out, so I don't worry about not touching my face & the times I do go out, I wear gloves & make a conscience effort to not cross contaminate anything.

For the people who are essential workers & still go to work, I would think hand sanitizer would be their best friend.
