Shelter in Place
« on: March 24, 2020, 01:20:28 pm »
What are you doing while staying home?   Each day I am tackling a different cleaning task.  I am also doing some reading and playing games on the computer  and of course surveys.  I do have to go to the store now and then but not as often as I did.  Since I'm not going to the store so often I'm not buying needless things and not spending as much money.....so I guess that's good.

Stay safe everyone!  :rainbow:

I've been at home for 12 days. I've been slowly cleaning up my place which is my major task. I'm also planning on staging a bunch of stuff that I don't need/wear that I can donate in a month (or whenever the virus slows down).
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

my daily routine has not changed one iota, LOL! My husband is working from home and my kids are doing distance learning for their college. But me? I'm just trucking along doing my usual MTurk and FusionCash. I'll be glad when the whole virus thing lets up so that everybody can get back to work and school and socializing and all. I think this whole quarantine is a lot harder for other people than for me and people like me.  :peace:

Life has changed slightly for me in that I am home more. I used to volunteer in different locations 3 days a week. Now it is grocery shopping and back home.  fortunately, it is nice enough outside to start working in my garden. I did not think I would survive be home but I am trying to stay positive.

Sounds like you are putting your time to good use.  I wish I had the energy! :(  Just the idea that we CAN"T  go out bothers me as much or more than actually staying home.

We are not under a shelter in place order.  And even if they do that you can still go to Walmart and grocery stores as well as pharmacy places like Walgreens and CVS.  I know someone local that is quarantined and she went to the drug store. I thought it meant you can not leave your house. Apparently not.  So basically the only stuff that closed is things like movie theaters, bars, and beauty salon type places. smh.  Even eating places are open you just have to use drive thru.  And here is the thing IF the person who fixes your food is coughing and breathing on your food it CAN make you sick.  Esp if they say the virus can live on cardboard for 3 days.

Pretty much same here.  I have to go to the drive thru pharmacy today and pick up my meds then go to the Wal-Mart pickup to get a small order.  I think I may have to go out in front of my community with a "will work for TP" sign LOL my rationing is still showing a dwindling supply of toilet paper.

Staying home, being somewhat bored, watching alot of my dvds, earning money online (which is probably the best thing I've done) besides working on cleaning house and playing with my lionhead rabbit. ☺
He always makes me happy!

The governor just announced SIP for our state today. Not that it makes much difference to me now, because the entertainment and food businesses were already closed. Going for a walk only takes up a few hours of the day. I wish I could volunteer somewhere, but we're supposed to stay home. UGH!

Hasn't changed a whole lot for me.  Can't go to movies anymore and I used to go once a week at least.  Can't go to church or Bible study.  Graddaughter is home instead of at school.  That's probably the hardest things because she is in constant motion and can't stand quiet.
