Heard an NBA player also tested positive; all we can do is follow the CDC's guidelines as best we can to keep ourselves safe; everyone try and stay well. I think our government waited a little to  late to  put a plan in place and at best the information being put out was not consistent.

How early should they have started? Before COV-19?  Trump found out at the end of Dec. and started meeting with health officials for suggestions and put different plans in place. Part of the problem was China not letting any other country know or allow any other country health officials help. CBC was a problem because their first kits weren't any good.  Alos, there are TOO many so-called experts a d other people giving their opinion of what to do, including the media, which confuses everyone, if not trying to panic them.

They reported as of this morning that they are isolated in a ward at a hospital in Australia and that they are feeling fine. They were being cautious. I adore Tom Hanks.

The Wall, Russian influence, nomination of Kavanaugh, phone calls to Ukraine, etc. ALL FAILED so now let's try to blame him for a virus that China caused to explode into a global pandemic because he personally and intentionally caused the U.S. to not have enough testing kits available. THAT is seriously their argument!?


(Meanwhile the Democratic governor of California stepped up and publicly said that Donald Trump has given them everything that they've asked for in terms of fighting the spread of the virus). That took guts on his part to admit that when his party is hell bent on making political gains at the expense of public health.

wow this is craziness -  I just don't know what to think about it all - I am able to stay in except for one grocery trip per week.  Wore a mask last week but people looked at me like I was crazy.  I am 66 and have heart issues and diabetes so I need to try and protect myself although that mask was torture.  Well best to Tom Hanks and his wife.

Because people tend to think if you have a mask on that YOU have some illness.  Most people who are sick do not care about protecting others. If they did they would stay at home when they were ill.

This c virus is turning the world upside down. When my son com3s home from work I tell him wash your hands. Never had to do that before.

Try to shop first thing in the morning when the store first opens, or very late at night if possible -- you will avoid crowds of people that way.   In Colorado they are suggesting to people if they are over age 60 to not be in situations with crowds greater than 10 -- I'm thinking that may be a good rule of thumb to follow if you have to go out.   

Apple just reopened all of it's stores in China, so hopefully that is an indication of things to come... life reverting back to normalcy shortly.

I was somewhat shocked to learn that Tom Hanks tested positive; but again, given where he was at the time, it is not surprising at the same time. Not to sound condescending but with his celebrity status, he will be OK (similar to Magic Johnson and his HIV status).
