And some people are snowflakes and take everything personal or get mad when someone does not just totally agree with them. Someone not agreeing with you does not make them rude. I have seen a lot of foolish stuff posted in these forums. But never thought or said oh that person is rude because they don't agree with me. OR with anyone else.

We all know what you mean when you call others "snowflakes".

I think in YOUR case "Avalanche might fit you much better.

I absolutely agree! This is what I told my children growing up regarding rude people, including bullies: there is something going on in their life that they are deeply unhappy about and it gives them a temporary sense of relief and power to attempt to transfer that misery.

You know in all the years I have been a member here I have blocked only two members that I can think of - the 2nd was today.  I just don't get why people have to be rude towards others.  If you don't like what someone posts move on don't say rude stuff.  I just don't get it but I don't have to see it either.  As my granny used to say if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all.  Do you agree or do you think people should post whatever they want no matter how rude.

I do understand what you're saying Debidoo.🤔 The People on here that does that are unhappy in their own lives and it shows on their responses to you and so forth. They try to get to you over the internet when all you have to do is move on to another topic. But instead they find pleasure in being nasty and judgemental towards others who are just venting and don't expect negativity to hit them . Like your grandma said, You don't have anything nice to say, don't say nothing at all.  No people shouldn't post whatever they want and that's one of the rules here, RESPECT one another. ❤

I don't think people should be able to post rude comments; we should all be able to amicably disagree out of respect for our mutual goals for the livlihood of the thread.  This is a safe space and I'd like to keep it that way.

I wish that the ignore feature would actually hide threads of that ignored user from being displayed rather than just mask the text of the posts of the users being ignored.

Only 2 members here? You should see what I see on other sites! Pure hatred if you disagree with them with very nasty words that I wish I could wash their mouths out with soap. Yeah, that bad. I ignore them when they attack unless I'm in a bad mood but usually, I just unsubscribe from the site because the only other choice is to report them to the moderators, but 9 times out of 10, the moderators don't do anything (they are to be given a warning, then ban for 7 days, and if they keep it up, ban permanently). 

I, too, think rude people are very unhappy with their lives like one of the other posters stated. There are 2 here that I ignore, too. I don't block anyone but I don't comment on their messages if they're off the wall.

I agree.  Some are not just rude, they don't even know what they are talking about but act like they know everything.  There are a couple of people when I see there name I just skip whatever they have to say.
