Should we panic? Is it overblown? Or somewhere in between?

Should schools or businesses close or will that just make the situation worse?

Why did you start another thread? There are already 3 or 4 with the exact same title.

I unfortunately do not think it is overblown.  And it isn't a problem to start a thread similar to one's already started.  If someone doesn't want to post then just move on is my thought.  I have been watching some of the stats on news and it is concerning and when I couldn't get through to my doctor's office today it made me wonder.

I think it is overblown. The media is causing hysteria, and people in general are easily brainwashed. The flu kills tens of thousands of people every year in the US alone, and no one is hoarding face masks over that.

I don't think it is overblown for the elderly and those with immune deficiencies. I don't think it will be so bad for those of us who do not fit into one of those two categories.

Interesting.  I try to be careful but not overthink it.  Always wash my hands.

It is something to be aware of and take precautions.  However I do think the media is making people nervous.  This isn't the first virus we've ever had floating around nor will it be the last.

Let hope medical doctors are able to find a vaccine or a cure for Coronavirus. Once they do, it will make us much safer.

We bought Tylenol the other day for the first time in about 5 years, that is the only thing we bought for this. To be prepared.

It is scary but many who get will survive. It's like a flu and many die from that every year. Stock market crashing is no5 a good sign.some people who got it never traveled and were not around anyone who had it.

If it hits your family it is not overblown.  But I do feel like people are going a little crazy over the purchase of toilet paper, etc.  I always have enough at our home for about a month except for perishables.  Just because I hate to go to the grocery store.  Since the stores have become so  crazy the last few days  I will just order on line.  I did my monthly shopping last Friday and there were no mobs and the shelves were full, but watching the news that has changed in a week.

lol. It is stupid to start a new thread when there are already 10 with the same topic. But some people have to be the center of attention.  And THAT is my thought.  I doubt you not getting through to your doctor office has anything to do with this virus unless it is in your area.
