whats on your table?
« on: February 14, 2020, 03:45:40 pm »
We had, tonight something that I bet we hadn't had for over 20 yrs.  I used to hate it when I was a kid.  Every now and then I just get a taste for it.  Usually one or two bites settles that craving.  It was so simple and cheap and it seemed to hit that spot.  Sausage and sauerkraut.  I think I should have made more as we seemed to enjoy it so much.  No left overs tonight.  What's on your table?

Tonight we had fajita pasta, one of our favorite recipes. But I'm completely on board when it comes to sausage and sauerkraut! We used to have it when I was a kid, too. So delicious. But then I love all German food! Unfortunately, we don't have any German restaurants near us. Oh, well.  :peace:

Tonight my husband made us a nice steak and some baked beans.

I like brats and sauerkraut on a bun, with mustard.

What kind of sausage do you serve with sauerkraut when you have sausage and sauerkraut?

We we to Outback and had steak and lobster with the gift cards we've received the last couple years.  I love sausage and sauerkraut.

Definitively not sausage and sausage!!!  :P Fortunately my husband and I seem to like the same things, so it is easy to cook for him.

Well I just finished breakfast toast with strawberry jam bacon and scrambled eggs.  Tonight I will have pizza and wings as I am meeting my sister-in-law who is here from SC and she wants to go to her favorite pizza place that is here.

Tonight I had Brunswick stew and a grill cheese sandwich.  It just seemed like a good night for something hot and a good grilled cheese sandwich.
