today was chicken taco's.  My daughter has been cooking.  She and her kids like things like this.  I tend to think of them as lunch or snack.  Everyone got full from them.  It was a hit.

We had bratwurst, cornbread, purple hull peas, corn, and steamed cabbage for supper. That's what I like to call a Country Supper, and we really love it! I've cut some bread out of my meals, so I didn't have the cornbread, just the peas and corn. Delicious!  :peace:

We had homemade Brunswick stew and loaf bread this evening. My husband makes it every once in a blue moon from his mom's ages old recipe. It takes a lot of work to put it together because there's so many different ingredients, but I love it every time we have it!  :peace:

We had taco salad tonight for supper, which was delicious! But earlier this week we had blackberry and sage pork chops, Ina Garten's garlic herb roasted potatoes, and green beans. My youngest son prepares this supper, and it's one of our favorites!  :peace:

I had a hotdog and a spinach salad at work.  Not a personal favorite, but it was what was available.

Pork chops steamed in elderberry juice.  That juice tenderized those chops so good that I could actually chew them.  But didn't really need to as they just melted in your mouth.  Fried potato and onion with a bell pepper.

We had an Asian noodle dish with two kinds of mushrooms and shrimp.  It was a recipe from Ree Drummond (Pioneer Woman)
